History

Agape Christian Academy opened in the fall of 2005. It started with 10 students from eight founding families who had the desire for a non-denominational Christian education for their children. By the fall of 2006, the school had grown to more than 40 students and added 3,000 square feet to its building. Today, just fifteen years later, Agape serves 250 students from more than 130 families at two campuses. Students come from six different counties. Preschool through Fourth Grade attends the campus in Burton; Fifth Grade through Twelfth Grade attends the campus in Troy. There are so many in the community who embraced the school when it started and who now look back fondly at how God has had His hand on what started as a two-room school house in Burton.
