Mr. Smith earned his Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Studies from Cedarville University after starting his college career as a Math Major. He also holds a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mr. Smith resides in Burton with his family and joined Agape for the 2018-2019 school year.

Mrs. Carr holds a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and a Masters of Education in Kindergarten thru 12 Reading Endorsement from Baldwin Wallace College. She holds a Teaching License in History Grades 6 thru 12 and Language Arts for Grades 4 thru 9. Mrs. Carr and her husband Mike reside in Sagamore Hills. She joined Agape for the 2011-2012 school year.  She also serves as girls’ Volleyball Coach.

Mrs. Chavez attended Grove City College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a Minor in Spanish. She holds a Grade 1 thru 8 teaching license, and Association of Christian Schools International Educator’s Certificate and a State of Ohio Non-tax Supported School Certificate. Mrs. Chavez brings 25 years of teaching experience to Agape all of which was at Warren Christian School where she taught Middle School Language Arts, Social Studies and Spanish, High School Spanish and Bible. Mrs. Chavez and her family reside in Southington. Mrs. Chavez has been with Agape since the 2010-2011 school year.

Mr. Itschner holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Administration and Counseling from Kent State University. He brings over 30 years of educational experience with the Berkshire School District where he served as a teacher, principal and counselor. He also served at Geauga Christian School prior to his college graduation. Mr. Itschner and his wife Mim reside in Burton. Mr. Itschner has been with Agape since the 2012-2013 school year.

Mr. Wilmot is a graduate of the Moody Bible Institute. He holds a Bachelors in Education with a Major in Bible.  He also earned a Bachelors in Physics and a Bachelors in Religious Studies from Cleveland State University. He joined Agape as a Student Teacher in the Fall of 2014 before graduating and now teaches Bible. He resides in Claridon with his wife Kelly and four children.

Mr. Martin Baker, Bus Driver

Mr. Baker comes certified with 27 years of experience driving a variety of trucks and vehicles.  He resides in Burton with his wife Ruth and children, Kaitlyn and Mason.  Mr. Baker has been with Agape since the 2011-2012 school year.
Mrs. Lori Fuller, Art Teacher

Mrs. Fuller earned her degree in Art Education from Kent State University.  Before teaching at Agape, she taught Middle School/High School Art at Cornerstone Christian Academy. She resides in Mesopotamia with her husband Bruce.  She joined Agape for the 2015-2016 school year.
  Mrs. Esther Geletka
Intervention Specialist

Mrs. Geletka holds a degree in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Masters in Reading from Kent State University. She specializes in students who process information differently or are on the Dyslexia spectrum and in the Barton Reading and Spelling Program. Mrs. Geletka joined Agape in 2005.
 
Mrs. Bethany Majetich, Choir/Drama Teacher

Mrs. Majetich holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Music Education from Oral Roberts University.  During her career she taught music in a Christian school with more than 200 students, served as music director for churches, and served the Lord as a missionary.  At Agape, Mrs. Majetich teaches music class and produces the school’s Elementary Christmas program.  She resides in Burton with her husband Bob.  Mrs. Majetich has been with Agape since the 2005-2006 school year.
Mrs. Kate Nevar,
Administrative Assistant

Mrs. Nevar earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from John Carroll University. Over the years she has served as Administrative Assistant to the Dean of the Boler School of Business at John Carroll and as Account Manager at C.H. Robinson, Inc. She joined Agape in the spring of 2017 and resides in Chardon with her husband Rod and four children Michael, Raquel, Eve and Sean.
  Mrs. Sharrie Rengers,
Tutor

Mrs. Rengers earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Clarion in Pennsylvania with a concentration in English and has experience teaching in a public school in Texas, at Geauga Christian School and as a lead teacher at Redeemer Lutheran Church Preschool. She has been a home educator for her children for 24 years She and her husband reside in Chagrin Falls. Mrs. Rengers joined Agape for the 2018-2019 school year.
